Pie Chart
Pie chart is a circular statistical graphic, which is divided into slices (circular sectors) to illustrate numerical proportion. Each arc length represents a proportion of each group, while the full circle represents the total of all the data, equal to 100%.
Form
-
Variable(s)num
Select variables and determine whether you want to use sum or frequency of those variables as a reference for the sector area. Statistiku will generate one pie chart for each variables you select.
-
Split byordered
Select one or two categorical variables which divide the circle into pieces.
We limit the categories only up to 2 categories. If you want more complex pie chart which has more sub-categories, we recommend you to use Sunburst.
Example
You can use schooldays dataset to create a pie chart since it has numerical variable (absent) and categorical variables (race, sex, school, and learner). Select "Sum of" or "Count of" absent as sector value, and select one or two categorical variable which will split/divide the circle.
